What services do you offer?

We offer the traditional range of garden services, but our most requested services are; grass cutting, lawn care, hedge trimming, seasonal pruning, weeding, and regular garden maintenance. As our service area covers South Aberdeenshire, we’re accustomed to a wide range of different gardens and conditions.
How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or Quote page and give us as much detail as you can about your garden and what you’d like help with. We aim to respond to all enquiries the same day, and will typically need to come for a quick site visit to see your garden before providing an estimate.
What makes you different?

I got started in this business because I had a personal love of gardening and horticulture. I’ve carried that forward into the way we operate, so you can rest assured that everything we do is done at the right time of year, in the right way, and to the best standards. Creating and maintaining beautiful gardens is our passion!

How long have you been around?

Oak & Sparrow was established as a limited company in December 2025, but before that I was trading as a sole trader since 2024. Prior to this, I worked for a competitor before deciding it was the right time to start my own business and do things my way. The future is bright for O&S, with ambitions to expand and provide new employment opportunities.

Can you give me advice?

Sometimes customers don’t know where to start. We can easily come in to clear an overgrown jungle or tame an unruly garden, but what happens after that? Customers often ask for planting advice or simple design suggestions. Given my personal love of plants, I can certainly help create a planting scheme to fill and elevate your garden.
Every garden is different and so it’s impossible to give you an off-the-shelf price. We don’t offer a fixed hourly rate, but rather quote a fixed price for the agreed set of work. This way you know you’re guaranteed the end result at this price, rather than worrying about additional costs if it takes longer than expected.
